A One-Day CBSE - Capacity Building Programme organized at Sri Krishnasamy International School on 05 July 2025, focusing on enhancing teacher well-being and professional growth. The workshop was led by Mr. Balamurugan, Principal of Mount Litera Zee School, Sivagangai, and Mrs. Pradeepa, Post Graduate Teacher from Kikhani Vidhya Mandir, Coimbatore. Both resource persons created meaningful awareness on "Stress Management", offering valuable insights and practical strategies to help teachers maintain balance, positivity, and efficiency in their professional lives. More than 60 teachers from the districts of Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Tenkasi, and Virudhunagar participated in the programme and benefited from the interactive sessions and discussions. The programme concluded on a positive note, reaffirming the school's commitment to supporting teacher development and promoting a healthy, progressive learning environment.
Sri Krishnasamy International School, Maraneri proudly hosted the MSSC Silambam Competition (Tamil martial art) on Friday, 18 July 2025, on behalf of the Madurai Sahodaya School Federation. The event highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Tamil Nadu and provided a strong platform for young martial artists to display their skills. Mrs. Preetha, Deputy Principal of Hayagrivas School, served as the supervisor of the competition, ensuring fair and smooth conduct of all events. More than 250 students from over 20 schools in the Virudhunagar district participated with great enthusiasm. The competition was organized in three major categories—Single Stick, Double Stick, and Silambam Fight—and conducted across four age groups. Each event showcased the discipline, agility, and traditional expertise of the participants. The arrangements for the competition were efficiently coordinated by Principal Mrs. Dhanalakshmi and Physical Education Teacher Mr. Vijayan, ensuring a well-organized and enjoyable experience for all. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. Correspondent Mr. R. Muthukumar presented trophies and certificates to the winners and congratulated all participants for their impressive performances and sportsmanship. The Silambam Competition was a resounding success, reflecting the school's commitment to promoting traditional arts and encouraging holistic development among students.
